Michael Kors has partnered with French luxury group Children Worldwide Fashion (CWF) to develop its first childrenswear collection, featuring clothing and accessories for girls aged 4 to 14, which will debut online and in stores on April 19. Included in its first spring collection are sportswear with the brand's MK logo, and took inspiration from Michael Michael Kors' womenswear collection.

The collection also includes knitted dresses, wool skirts, floral shapes, swimwear, as well as bags and accessories, such as the heart-shaped satchel, and makes great use of its signature all-over monochromatic print.

In a press release, Michael Kors said the children's collection will expand later this year to include baby- and toddler-sized girls. Global brand locations in New York, Dubai, Paris and Spain will host events celebrating the launch of collections and "the global feel of advertising," shot in Ibiza, Spain, will immerse customers in in-store adventures.

Michael Kors' apparel collections will be sold by partners including Galeries Lafayette, Zalando and Ounass, and will be available at CWF distribution locations as well as in the brand's own digital flagship stores.
